BIO WEAPONS CRISIS APPEARANCES TITANS WEST LINKS

This site has been created in homage to an often underused and overlooked DC Comics’ character known as FLAMEBIRD. It also provides some interesting facts for those that are unfamiliar with her long past in the DC Universe. Here you’ll find a comprehensive list to her pre-crisis and post crisis appearances as well as the many gadgets and weapons she’s used to fight crime with.

Flamebird began her existence as Betty Kane, the original Bat-Girl, back in 1967. She was the niece of circus owner Kathy Kane (Batwoman). When Crisis of Infinite Earths came many characters were cast into limbo; Betty was one of them. However, George Perez reintroduced her as Elizabeth “Bette” Kane and gave her the new identity of Flamebird. Since then Bette has been given a rebirth by Geoff Johns and Ben Rahab, set on a road that will allow her to become the true hero she was always meant to be.

I hope you enjoy the site and find yourself enamored by this character as I’ve been for many years.

Thanks for stopping by.
